Welcome to the Rockhampton Branch of the W.C.O.T.C.

CLARIFICATION
For our foreign viewers and, as well,
for
those who know not Bro. Shaun well, here is a listing of the comments
made by the reporter of The
Morning Bulletin, and the truth
of the situation. While I am not suggesting that The
Morning Bulletin would
deliberately go out and lie about the situation that they saw, they may
have been "obscured" in their viewing.
- Why
was there no official comment ? :
The reason is simple. When this first broke the newspapers, one week
ago (24th February, 2001/28 A.C.), we sent an email to our revered
Pontifex Maximus, about media responses. Being fairly recent to the
Church, we had assumed that one needed to be a reverend or have read
the Holy Books before one could make an objective reply to the media.
As we both had yet to reach this goal, we decided to wait for an
answer. The reporter "interviewed" Bro. Shaun on Wednesday (28/02/2001)
and a reply from Rev. Matt Hale was only recieved on Friday
(02/03/2001), in which we were allow to reply, according to some
guidelines. This delay was due to the public meeting, editorial duties
and the law license conflict.
- Is
the electoral roll public record ? :
We assume so. We will not make any suggestions over the legality about
how a mere newspaper could obtain our names, without us knowing of it.
Naturally, they could have just seen it on the "Local Churches" page of
the Creator website, and just looked it up in the telephone book.
- Why
make mention of the navy paraphrenalia and high-violence videos and
computer games ? : The fact is
that the alleged "interview" was made whilst the reporter and protector
was on the front door step of Bro. Shaun's house. They probably did not
have a good view of the interior of the house. I am assuming the video
games they saw were 'Command and Conquer', 'Sim City 2000' and 'Caeser
III', at least, in that position, these were the games I could see. The
videos were mainly war movies, the type with John Wayne in them, as
well as a few futuristic/fantasy ones, e.g.
the Star Wars Trilogy, Highlander. Maybe these can be considered to be
high violence. As for the navy connatations, well, that is easy to
answer - Bro. Shaun is ex-Navy : those "paraphrenalia" were insignias,
patches and photographs, taken from his duty for his country, which
included a tour to the Persian Gulf, during the Gulf War.
- Why
refer our Church to the Human Rights Commision ? :
I believe that this was written to assure the readers of the article
that the authorities in charge (whatever/whoever they are) are taking
some form of action. Otherwise, the people may assume that being
supportive of your Race to be a bad idea and not very nice.
- Why
does the paper refer to the violence associated, however vaguely, with
the WCOTC ? : The newspaper
wants to make us stand out as vigilantes, with white hooded cloaks and
jackboots, awaiting the end of days, when we can crawl from the rubble
and claim victory. Yeah, right. It must be said that there is violence
assoicated with WCOTC but so is there with Catholicism, Protestants,
Islam, Buddhism, Hinduism, Native American faiths, etc.....
- Is
there any referece to the actual information contained in this article
? : I would like to see the
facts that they have used in their article, such as "...their numbers
may be small ..." - how many exactly are there ?, "They spend half
their time in the States fighting with other ...groups..." - where is
the data to back this time-analysis up ?, and "... there are people
like this who go around killing people..." - name these people,
detailing their crimes.
- How
can the WCOTC be condoned for the actions of the South African police ?
: That is an answer I would like
to know. After all, it was the South
African police, not the WCOTC,
who tried to recruit members to fight for them.
- Who
is the leader of the Australian branch of the WCOTC ? :
Do we even have a leader here ?? If so, I do not know who he/she is. I
would also like to know who Peter O'Sullivan is as well !!!
- Why
haven't the newspaper picked up on that Bro. Michael Ireland is a
"racist" before and not publish his letters ? :
I think it is because the newspaper likes the publicity - they don't
really care for issues, just for papers sold. The controversary just
sells papers - is it a co-incidence that in the week that the articles
were in, the one day that there were no articles, was the issue that
publishes the weekly TV times ??
- Does
anyone know who you are ? : Yes.
Our families and friends know who we are. The fact that we have a post
office box is for convenience sakes, much like The
Morning Bulletin's rationale for
a post office box.
- What
is your relationship to Pauline Hanson and the One Nation political
party ? : There is no
relationship to One Nation or Pauline Hanson.
- What
is your relationship to Australia's gun lobby ? :
There is no relationship to the gun lobby in Australia.
